Cosmos Chan Community is starting a new series of weekly online Chan/Zen Dharma teaching starting from the beginning of June.
Have you ever thought about the true reality of life and the universe? The founder of Patriarch/Matriarch Chan (Zen), Sixth Patriarch Huineng, said that our self-nature is intrinsically self-sufficient, non-arising and non-perishing, and able to manifest all things. Why is this not apparent to us? We address the realization of this true reality when we engage in the Chan (Zen) mind training.

- Material: The Platform Sutra and the Diamond Sutra.
- Location: The meeting will be held online through a webinar website. You do not need to download anything to join.

Time:
Once a week for two hours each. We will have two separate sessions for participants in different time zones. The times are chosen especially for North America and Europe but we should be able to accommodate participants in some other time zones.
- Session 1 (North America): Saturday 5:00pm PST / 7:00pm CST / 8:00pm EST, from 2016 June 4
- Session 2 (Europe): Tuesday 9:00am WET/GMT / 10:00am CET / 11:00am EET, from 2016 June 7
- Format: The meeting will primarily be teaching about the essential principals of Chan/Zen. This teaching is intended to help you with your own practice (mind training in Sitting Chan meditation and daily life), and you are welcome to ask our teacher questions about your practice. If there is interest from participants we can also do a brief (~15 minute) Sitting Chan session during each meeting, and if several participants are interested we can arrange a separate Sitting Chan training session.
